Budweiser Holiday Beer Steins
As the most popular brand of the largest brewery in the United States, it is no surprise that AB issues new Budweiser Holiday Beer Stein every year. The tradition started in 1980 with three versions of their first offering. Featuring the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales pulling the beer wagon, there were one unlidded and two lidded steins released. The tradition of using the "8 Horse Team and Wagon" motif has continued ever since with most of the Holiday Editions featuring variations of this classic scene.
The Budweiser Holiday Beer Steins are produced for AB by the Ceramarte Company of Brazil and are primarily ceramic earthenware. As is normal in the United States, the majority of their beer steins are of the open lid style. The lidded variety is usually reserved as more expensive limited, signed and numbered editions. The addition of an equally collectable gift box to contain and display the Budweiser Holiday Beer Steins was introduced in 1993.

While the Budweiser Holiday Beer Steins are not exclusive to the Christmas holiday, the vast majority of the Holiday Beer Steins do feature the Christmas motif and tie in with Anheuser-Busch's Christmas advertising campaigns that revolve around the Clydesdales pulling their load through snowy villages.
